Sigh, another stereotypical question. You're putting EVERY Canadian woman in a draw labelled "Unfriendly and Cold", shutting door and locking it. Is that justified? I really do doubt every Canadian woman is cold and unfriendly. Just look around, and Im sure you'll find some lovely Canadian gals!

first of all to generalize all women into one category is very offending. If your approach to Canadian women is similar to your question then we of cours weill treat ignorance with what you define as unfriendliness but what I think of as indifference to a ho hum person.

I don't think all Canadian or any other women are ALL cold and unfriendly, and it isn't very realistic to catargorize like this. I myself deal w/ a lot of Canadian women and men and find them very warm and friendly!

How weird, the only Canadian girls I know are extremely friendly. Cold yeah, but only when they're outside, come on, it's Canada.

Which city are you talking about? I know that this is probably true in the city I live in, but it's not really out of rudeness. It's just the way we typically are. There are "friendly" cities in Canada, though. Sure, I am very friendly on here, but I am not the kind of person who just starts talking to some random stranger on the street. It's just not what we typically do in the city I live in. Is that the kind of attitude you're talking about? PS: To the people who say that the questioner is stereotyping,.. if you say that Canadians are warm and friendly, you're stereotyping as well. No offense.

It is certainly correct to assert that the vast majority of Canadian women are frigid, castrating bitches who only value others on the basis of material possessions and physical appearance alone. I think that this is due to the fact that the societal institutions of contemporary Canada are directly based on classical English Toryism and the rigid social conservatism of the old Roman Catholic/Calvinist tradition of the first settlers. In addition, Canada is a highly industrialized society which subconsciously conditions women to place a higher premium on both looks and purchasing power, as opposed to other cultures. I think that the overwhelming majority of Canadian women are rude and ignorant because they happen to have been socialized in a culture that stresses puritanical social values and rampant commercialism

I have never found ANY Canadian to be that way. ON the contrary, I think they are warm friendly people who go out of their way to be nice and helpful, very generous with themselves.

Really? I've met plenty of rude American and European women, and a few rude Canadians as well. I think rudeness is just everywhere. We all express it differently, though.

Rude people are everywhere..... However all and all Canadian women compared to American women are much more approachable and friendly. The comment about Canadian women being frigid in the bedroom is so wrong. I grew up in a small Canadian town and got laid more than i can explain. American women are way more uptight, thinking every guy they meet is a mass murderer... Not so in Canada. People are way more relaxed. Canadian omen can drink too.... My wife could keep up with me drinking when I met her, and she was 5'5 110lbs ! Im 6ft 200lbs ! When I was younger with her she would keep up with me till 15 or so beers in a night ! And she would still be ready for a good thrashing after we got home ! Gotta love Canadian women for knowing how to party !

I have to say that I've had the same experiences as the person who asked the question. I've found Canadian women to be the most unfriendly of all. I used to work on cruise ships, and had the opportunity to date women from all over the world... however, the Canadian girls wouldn't even give me the time of day, so I dated American and British girls. It seemed so strange to me, but I can't discount my experience, and I wasn't alone in my situation. I wasn't the only one who said "What is it with the Canadian girls? Why are they so snobby?" While travelling in the U.S., I was approached by a particularly stunning woman who walked right up to me and said "Hi, I'm (so and so), and I've been meaning to introduce myself to you". I was floored. We went out to dinner and had a great time. I've been approached by friendly ladies time and time again in the U.S. That never happens to me (or anyone I know) here in Canada, and when I approach a woman, I get this really cold "PFO" vibe more often that not. It's really, really strange but there _is_ a big difference between Canadian and American girls. Canadian women ARE cold and unfriendly in comparison to Americans and Brits. I really wish they weren't, though! You all can DR me if you want, but that's my experience.

All the Canadian women I have ever met are very nice and I meet a lot of them because I live in Alaska. Maybe you just got off on the wrong foot whith them.

Canada has the friendliest, warmest, best looking women in the whole world! Trust me we get our tan on. and PS....it's really not that COLD here all the time no colder than it is anywhere else.
