Do the post office check what's in the package I'm sending?

    I'm pretty sure that would be a federal offense. The office workers really don't get paid enough to lose their job by looking through people's boxes. Now, if it were a national security thing and they suspected the package of being harmful to others, then I think Homeland Security would be called. But this is all total speculation and I have no idea of the actual USPS procedures.
