  • Part of the peace treaty with South Korea (signed last week) states that they will not try to acquire more nuclear weapons. But they still keep the rights to nuclear power and to keep whatever weapons they have already developed. They also have the right to develop new rocket technology to extend the range of them weapons. Personally I think it is a step in the right direction and do not blame them one bit for wanting to keep the weapons they have. The US are too unpredictable for a country like that to completely disarm its nuclear power.
  • Kind of. They're still producing nuclear power, and they're keeping the nukes they have. Like slothmister said, this is really a step in the right direction. Now, if only we could get Pakistan, India, France, Britain and the US to do the same.
