I don't think so. It just gives us a momentary break from doing our job. I know that I really need that sometimes.

It suggests to me that we could probably get all our work done in four days and enjoy three day weekends. Seriously.

My job is feast or famine...i am either slammed with work...or have nothing to do...before i discovered ab i'd spend the slow moments reading.

Well in my case, I have tons to do. But I get it all done. And when it's a quiet time in the office I get onto AB. I work really hard at what I do, I always go the extra mile, and they know that. That's why I don't feel bad for being on AB every now and then. Now if I were like a bad worker and did nothing on the job, then that'd be a different story.

I don't know, everywhere I have worked, there was no "free" time. Even if you got a short personal phone call, they gave you the evil eye.

i work at a tax office so unless its january-april i have nothing to do. its so boring it drives me nuts, i went in the bathroom and cried once. i have add too so it makes it even worse. i hate it. and they get mad when im not here or go to leave. i could be doing so many other things right now....god i dont want to talk about it ill freak out

I think the nature of an office job is different than working in a more production oriented environment like....say, an assembly line. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I think that really depends on how much time people are spending on AB while at work. Most jobs have a little "lull" here and there, where work is concerned, so it shouldn't be a problem. But, if someone is spending 2, 3, 4, or more hours on AB while at work, then there probably is a problem, (unless your job is just to sit there and answer phones, or security, or something like that).

Pretty much...LOL
