Dont listen to the first commenter, your lip is not infected thats just excess tissue expanding from where your skins been damaged while piercing.
As with most piercings this is your body trying to rearrange everything back into place to nessecitate this new foreign object in your body, it will go away with time.
Just keep it clean!
It's an infection due to the piercing. Feel the your neck (the part below the jaw and directly beneath your tongue) at the side if you can feel a small lump. If there is, the sore in your lip is infected. You just take some antibiotics for 5 days. Ü
I cant tell u for sure, and I am not a dr. but its probably just pus. You just got ur lip pierced so in order to fight an infection the white blood cells clumped together sacrificing themselves which results in pus. If it hurts, u can use a sterile needle and prick a hole in it the pus should come out, this is what it sounds like. I know i am sounding like a horrible advice giver, but show it to your parent or a friend they will be able to tell u i its bad or not. If your really worried about it you could probably go back to where u got it done and ask the people who work there about it, they might have seen something like this before. If it starts hurting really bad or it changes drastically take it to the dr. In order to ease the pain u can get some ambesol it numbs it a little. Hope things work out.
I got my lip pierced 4 days ago but my school are being difficult and are making me take it out.. how long it take before it closes over, especially considering it's such a new piercing!?

Right and wrong placement for side labret? I'm wearing a stud but I'm not sure if the placement I got pierced is correct. It's not right below my lip. Also, it hits my teeth sometimes when I talk or eat. Is this normal?
