Who gets the point if the ball you hit bounces off the end of the table without hitting the playing surface, and the opposing player hits the ball with his paddle, but never makes it over the net?

    The person who hit the ball first..hitting the side but missing the surface.

    The ball does NOT have to hit the end of the table to be returned. If they attempt to return the ball, hit it, and it fouls, YOU get the point.

    As I'm aware, the point is yours if the player contacts ball while on the fly with his bat.
