Help answer this question below.

I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Periodically, the blower motor under the dash will jump into high speed, regardless of the knob setting, and stay on, even after I shut the car off and take out the key. I unhooked the bat wire to stop it, any ideas?
