I don't think I've been to Dayton but I sure have been through Ohio many times. What comes to my mind are two things. One, over-zealous cops who stop travelers on the interstate and question them. And the home of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Dayton International Airport (KDAY) and the Wright Patterson Airforce Base. And yes, I can't even count how many times I have been pulled over in Dayton.
