a button that says "browse" should come up. you strike that, and it lets you review the image files on your drives. double click on the image you want to upload.

When you click Upload image, the sceen should expand a little bit to allow you to browse for your pic, once you select it, click upload. :-Þ

We accept JPEG, GIF and PNG images under 2MB. Images wider or taller than 1024px will be automatically resized. that is the only thing that shows up after i click upload image

Click on the blue button marked 'Upload Image' that you should see beneath the answer box and a little text box will appear beneath the button. Click the button that says 'Browse' next to the text box and find the picture you want to upload (It HAS to be either a .jpg, .gif or .png that is less than 2 MB in size). Once you've found the picture double click on its name and then click on the button marked 'Upload'. Finally click on the 'Submit' button to submit your answer and picture.

You have to save the images on your computer in your My Pictures folder. When you click on Upload Image in AB, click on Browse. Your "My Pictures" folder will open up. Click on the picture you want to upload then click on Open. Then click on the "Upload" button next to the "Browse" button. Then click on "Submit" and the picture will be in the answer you submitted. All of the above looks like how it SHOULD work, but no joy - The images upload fine, but then they never show up in the answer (and nothing looking like the HTML for them appears in the answer either). I see the pics are uploaded, the thumbs show up below the answer box, but there's no apparent way to insert them in the answer! The only visible link near each thumb is 'remove' - shouldn't there be a matching 'insert'? I even right-click-copied the 'temp' addresses from the Properties of the thumbs and tried with and without some basic HTML to get even them, just any image to show up, but no luck there either. Is there some location where 'our answerbag images uploaded for answers' live, from which we should copy the address into the answers? I can't find any such ... Answerbag moderator - HELP?!? (Edit - OK, I finally got some pics to work - Apparently, once they appear as thumbs below the answer box, they are auto-inserted in the message, with no visible HTML appearing in the answer. It took me a few tries to get the thumbs to upload at all, and then I had to 'Edit message' and 'Submit' twice to finally get the two pics to appear. It may be that the answerbag servers are just momentarily glitching tonight ... )

Start all over, if you miss a step it probably won't upload, so just start all over and after a few tries you will get it right.

no it doesnt..... it just says: This image or file name has already been uploaded.

Do you mean your avatar?? If so go to: * Edit my profile / avatar * Then you'll see 'Your Avatar' and a little box * Click 'Click Here To Change Your Avatar' And its all downhill from there.
