gets the stomach churning and the warmness of the liquid tells your body that it's okay to relax. Drink a glass of ice cold water and try to make. Bet your body fights you.

Coffee can sometimes act as a laxative, which the body can become dependent upon because the caffeine relaxes the smooth muscle in the colon.

They system is not use to the cafine that is in coffee and it upsets the stomach. Plus, the added cream may be the cause of the upset as it does not always agree with coffee on a person's stomach.

For most people, coffee acts as a diuretic for the reason that this beverage contains caffeine. As a diuretic, caffeine causes dehydration in the gastrointestinal tract triggering constipation. However, according to recent studies done on HEALTHY people, coffee seems to work as a laxative most specially when it is served hot. Warm drinks tends to relax the muscles in the digestive tract such that they do for their purpose smoothly and more efficiently. In addition to this, caffeine in one way or another provides a soothing and a relaxing effect to the smooth muscles in the colon promoting better bowel movement. However, this peristalic effect brought on by the intake of coffee seems to work better in males than in females.
