I do not think a US flag lapel pin would be appreciated over here in the UK. No I do not care if they wear one or not. Sometimes it seems a bit over the top because they do not wear them all the time.
-
Not in the least.
-
I must say I am disappointed Obama won't wear one...just my personal opinion mind you.
-
No, I don't care. Frankly, until reading this question, I never bothered enough looking to notice.
-
I think that most of them wear them as a false homage. And I'd like to see fewer wearing them. Ever since 9/11/01, it's as if they all hopped on the bandwagon of psuedo patriotism. If they really wanted to show patriotism they would have served in the military (which few have), and really support our troops.
-
I don't mind if they wear no pin, I just don't want to see a United Nations pin on their lapel, if I see that then I know they are corrupt as well as very weak.

First,I am surprised he asked a good question, for with his bias I am doubtful he has anything good to say.I would say that it would not matter and Bill's question is inane and meaningless.
-
Peronally, I wish they wouldn't wear them. It's an all too common gesture that seems disingenuine, just like throwing a magnetic ribbon onto the back of your car. Patriotism lives in the heart and in our actions. I think it is generally assumed that one involved in US politics is patriotic; it doesn't take a lapel pin to demonstrate it. Just my opinion.

I really can't stand when all these posers were pins and ribbons. It doesn't prove anything to me, it doesn't make them more patriotic than anybody else.
-
Nope. Either way it's a hollow gesture. If he does, It means nothing, just that his dresser remembered today.
-
I don't care if they tattoo it on their forehead. Wearing a flag pin makes you as patriotic as wearing the Ford insignia makes you a pickup truck.
