  • in Mexico... like 99.5%
  • I'm sure there is a percentage but all the ones I've known have not been. I would guess around 10%.
  • probably alot% if you are stripper your probably a prostitute too..........just an opinion
  • I have known a number of strippers and worked with some people that know the Atlanta strip club scene from the inside. I was told by a manager of a club that he guessed about 1 in 5 (20%) girls that worked for him WOULD take money for sex. Does that make them prostitutes? I would say no. I'd say they are women who are: A) offered money to sleep with a guy they would normally have slept with if they met him at a bar anyway or B) offered so much money they couldn't pass up the deal. I knew a girl who said she went back to a guy's hotel after being offered $3000 cash. She took one of the bouncers with her. I know another girl who slept with a baseball player who offered money to a few of the girls. She said she would have done it regardless of the money.
  • I would think the percentage is high maybe 70-80% but I don't think everyone would as many people nowaday has a strange sense of moral/dignity code, and even more has a strange way of defining things. To "someguy" I can see your logic point on how there is no moral difference between sleeping with several guys for free or doing it for money, but you have your definitions all wrong. A Prostitute is according to wikipedia and similar in my dictionary "a woman who engages in sexual intercourse for money or sell one's body; exchange sex for money". By that definition the strippers who sleep with guys for money is most definately a prostitute, it even suggest that stripping in itself could be defined as such. Its one thing to suggest that there is nothing wrong with selling your body for money, but quite another to try to change the dictionary definition of the word. If people would argue that there is nothing wrong with sleeping with guys for money, then they should accept the words prostitute and maybe even whore as something they are and be responsible for what they do instead of inventing false separations between who themselves and those who do what they do. Stripping is by definition immoral, sleeping for money a act of prostitution, and sleeping with many you are not in a serious relationship with a slutty or whorish action. No need to redefine the dictionary. Either we should argue that its ok being immoral, prostitute or slutty, or make a stand against it by not doing it. This other stuff is just a dishonest, cowardly hypocricy. I have no problems with girls having the right to do what they want with they own bodies, as long as they are willing to face the consequences and not by dishonest about it. If lies is necessary to tell yourself that what you are doing is ok, then it's obvious in itself that it really isn't.
  • I would guess that in the United States the percentage is pretty low.
  • No one will ever know the real percentage as this situation is more of personal matter.Decision is theirs to make. Most of us will assume strippers would surely offer their bodies for sex & money bcos their bodies are exposed at stripping.
  • i work at a strip club and i've only heard of one girl that was prostituting and she got fired. it isnt a high percentage thats for sure
  • I was a bartender in a strip club for almost 7 years, all the way through my PhD program. During that time I only knew one girl who was a money up front prostitute. She didn't last too long, the boss ran her off. You can lose your liquor license in a second for something like that. A lot of the girls would occasionally date a guy they met at the club, and there might be something of value change hands, but that was usually jewelry, or something of that sort. That happens with lots of girls who aren't strippers and who don't meet their dates in a club. A good looking stripper makes a good living. In order to need to prostitute herself, a girl would have to have an expensive habit, (most probable) or other large expenses. My wife danced for two years before we got married. We've two kids, and she's in the PTA now. She still dances ocasionally, but only for me.
