Ugh, I don't quite understand it myself. I would say the "catchy" songs, the positive story line, the actors that they can get pre-adolescent crushes on, and how it's "fun for the whole family". I liked the first one, but not the second. It's simple, empty, bubblegum for the brain. No nutritional value whatsoever. Simple little happy story about simple, little happy people. That's why people like it. :)
