Well I don't think the Christian Trinity is "the real thing" so I guess whenever Shiva turns up with Krishna on her arm, resolving the problem once and for all, I'll be a believer! Until then, I'll reserve judgement on any god(s)...
-
The Christian trinity is not necessarily "The real thing"... It has as much probability as any other belief system to be fake.... In some people's belief ... even more so. I am convinced that there is a higher power, but I do not ascribe to Christian theory or ideology. I am Pagan. So, it does not take any convincing.... yes.
-
"Real thing?" If I had a penny for every person who claimed their religion was the 'real thing,' I probably wouldn't be responding to this. I'm not saying it can't be the 'real thing,' just... who's anyone to judge what is real and what is not? Reality is relative, and utterly subjective. Although I would never pray, I would never think of denying anyone their God(s)/Goddess(es)/Faith, nor deny the possibility that their religion is real. There is always a possibility. So, in answer to your question: Yes, theoretically, I could be convinced, but that doesn't mean I'd ever become a follower of ANY faith. The only thing I've ever felt a strong belief or disbelief in is myself, and I've never honestly felt a need to pray or consider a higher being or purpose. But that's just my opinion.
-
NO, I could not be convinced. I know what is real, and cannot be sol on relative rality or any other philosophies that have been pushed onto society in recent times. People will chastise me for my answer I'm sure, but it will not weaken my faith in the truth.

I believe in a God who doesn't judge. According to the people of my Christian faith, that God judges, so I believe in one that doesn't. You also have to be careful not to offend the Jews, Hindus, Islamics or Atheists because other than the atheists all religions feel that their God is real

Yea, about the same time when I could deny that I have a Father, Mother and that I don’t exists. It's impossible to know God, unless the Holy Spirit sent by God the Father draws you to Christ, and then it’s only through Jesus Christ that God the Father reveals himself to us. This “drawing” process could be through denomination, different religions, or non-religions, atheism etc…, but time does come, when each of us is presented with a “question,” a “knock” at the door, IF we open it, we see the truth…and indeed it does set us free from nitpicking as which description of God is real…

Do you mean another God as in more than one God total, or another God as in different than what I already believe in? The only reason I believe in God at all is because of my experiences in life. I do not believe there is a God simply because some book says there is. I believe in God because of my personal experiences with Him. I believe that God loves us no matter our race, sexual orientation, male or female, etc. etc. I believe that he does not judge us by our single words and actions, sorrowful that those words and actions might make Him, but that he has reserved a judgement day for us and will decide our fate for eternity on that day based upon our lives as a whole. I believe that God is forgiving if we are truly sorry. I believe that God does provide us with what we need, but it is up to us to go after what we want. I believe that God has a sense of Humor-so be careful what you ask for! I believe that God is very patient and does things on His time, so we should not get upset if a prayer is not answered in our time. And I believe that God guides my heart and mind to be kind, considerate, and helpful towards others and that even if that does not earn my spot in heaven I can at least live knowing I have done my best to help my fellow mankind.

Absolutely. I just could never be convinced that the Christian deity - Yahweh - is the real thing.
-
Could I be convinced that there is another god besides Creator God? No I couldn't.
-
Certainly if you could provide rock solid proof of it's existence for either deity. For the time being however, I'll stay atheist.
-
I could be convinced by whichever god wants to prove him/herself to me in a way that is louder than the background noise of the universe.
-
no, i could not, but that is because i believe that my God is covered by quite a few religions. i could convert, and still pray to the same being i do today. there is no proof that Christianity is the "real thing." religious people have faith, not fact. this is so that all humanity has free will, and with absolute knowledge, faith is useless. faith is awarded in heaven because there is no absolute proof of what the religious believe in. fact negates faith and free will.
