  • iTunes.
  • If you have Windows Media Player 10 you can rip it straight without any converting headaches.
  • If you have a spare flash (USB) driver you can use portable apps and add in InfraRecorder it converts mp3 to audio 'on the fly' as you burn a CD http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/infrarecorder_portable
  • CD Burn XP Pro. It's like Nero, but free! http://cdburnerxp.se/ Your computer or drive may have come bundled with Nero or Roxio, I recommend you check to see if they are or if it's already pre-installed on your machine. Use those instead of CD Burn XP Pro. Worth Mentioning is also Infrarecorder it has lots of potential, but it's still beta and I won't criticize it too much or recommend it at the moment.
  • Yes, there is. In fact, there are quite a few of them.
  • Also worth mentioning is the Firefox like program called Songbird that supports Firefox style plug ins including MP3 support and can Rip CD's. Consider it the free replacement for iTUNES http://getsongbird.com/ http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/12 Older versions of songbird did support burning media files to CD, but that feature has been temporarily disabled in the latest beta version.
  • You should be able to just simply use your windows media player and burn a cd from it.
