What kind of paint is used on the surfaces of Ping-Pong tables?

    These days, lacquer - sometimes reflective for the stripes. Many, if not most, table tops are resin with the color added. Resin wears very well, resists scratches/dents, and actually adds an elastic 'bounce' effect to the ball action.
