Why would my four-month-old puppy urinate in her sleep?

    For exactly the same reasons that four-month-old children do the same thing. The discipline of bladder control is not fully developed yet.

    As your puppy is taught and masters house-breaking, bladder control at night follows naturally.

    Of course, if this behavior continues, it could be a sing of a medical problem which needs to be treated.

    Patience is the best medicine. There is nothing a puppy wants to do more than to please its owner(s). You are higher up in the pack pecking-order in the puppy's mind (his/her Alpha). Praise from you is taken very seriously by the puppy, as is scolding. Use both thoughfully.
