I am going to give you 2 truths and 1 lie. I am going to give you 1 truths and 2 lies. Both the answers above are lies. Which one of these statements is the lie?

    It's the third one.

    The first one is correct as it is. Two truths, and one lie.

    Here's the tricky part.

    The second sounds incorrect, but the third is the one that balances the second one off.

    If you said that both statements were lies, and if this was correct, then this would throw off the question. It should be rephrased as "One statement is a lie" to offset it. The third one also throws off the first statement.
