  • Out of necessity. Because the nature and planet's ecosystem changes. So must we in order to survive. No matter where u go change is imminent.
  • At it's most basic level, evolution occurs because every living organism builds slightly imperfect copies of itself. No two are the same (not even identical twins are exactly exact). From all that variety, some organisms survive to reproduce and others don't. Those that do the most reproducing pass down some of those changes (along with a few more changes of their own) and so on and so on. Grossly oversimplified of course...
