  • There is no 'one' belief about hell in Unitarian Universalism. People with varying views attend the church, everyone from Christians to atheists are welcome there. Different belief systems and viewpoints are discussed openly. Unitarian Universalism is a creedless, dogma-free approach to faith.
  • While in general Molecule is correct, there is a tradition within the UU to believe in universal salvation. This is the nature of the Universalist component of the name. Universalism is the religious dogma that in essence contends that all humanity will enter into the kingdom of God, not just a select few or only Christians. Given that expectation, the belief in Hell has very little significance. Perhaps they believe it exists, but they don't seem to believe anyone is there.
