this depends greatly on what happened during the eviction. if an unlawful detainer was filed, it will stay on your criminal background forever. if there was money owed to the landlord that they have pressed a civil claim for, it will stay on your credit anywhere from 7-10 years and any landlord that checks your criminal background or credit will be able to see it.

If you were convicted in North Carolina and you now live in South Carolina how long does a felony stay on your background after you have done time for the felony?

I need the same answer for WASH. STATE. "HOW LONG DOES AN EVICTION STAY ON ONE'S RECORD??? I have a mother whom EVICTED me from my own Home. It's my own PAID FOR Mobile Home, That is sitting on her property, which I paid her rent for the site in which my home sits, on her property, with no contract. ONLY VERBAL AGREEMENT. Now I cannot Move Back Into MY OWN HOME! This happened several years ago, and is still in effect today. I have an attorney's number to call and I will ask.
