Probably -- but this isn't enough information to diagnose what conditions may cause the symptoms. If you are seeking relief from the heat, you could try various lotions with "cooling properties" from cucumber, aloe vera and/or coconut. There are a host of possibilities for what could cause the heat, from cold weather outside, to emotional reactions, to perimenopause. Each has it's own remedies, but as a start, it wouldn't hurt to make sure you are drinking enough water, at least 3 or 4 glasses a day for awhile, to see if dehydration has anything to do with it.

I am not so sure about this helping with the warmth in your cheeks, but I have used this facial twice and so far, it's removed at least a little bit of the redness I am so used to :) It is supposed to take effect within two weeks of using it (twice a week). I will post a link to the video (explains it much better than I can). This mask is made from crused aspirin and honey^^ (you can use aloe vera in place of honey if you are allergic). It makes your skin really smooth and soft too~

    I hope this helps^^

cool water will dry out the skin and you have sensitive skin. I do too. I have started using only Aveeno Ultra-Calming products and the redness is less and so is the burning sensation on the cheeks I used to feel. Now, if money is an object, the products are somewhat medium ranged.

    From the site:
calming and soothing solution for Sensitive Skin
Feverfew, a resilient flower related to chamomile, thrives in the harsh conditions of the Mediterranean mountain region. For centuries this hardy little flower has been cultivated for its medicinal value. AVEENO® scientists unlocked feverfew’s true potential by creating a unique way to process feverfew which retains the naturally active benefits of the ingredient to soothe and calm irritated skin.

    Advancing the Science of Feverfew
Naturally calming feverfew found in AVEENO® is a patented skincare breakthrough and has been shown in preclinical testing to effectively deliver the broadest range of anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits compared with over 2,000 other natural ingredients. In addition to providing anti-oxidant activity, it calms and soothes compromised and assaulted skin. Feverfew is proven to reduce redness and irritation caused by internal and external aggressions.
