Help answer this question below.

If I plug my desktop PC's USB mouse and keyboard into my laptop PC, will I be able to use them, and will doing so damage my laptop in time?

Yes, as the previous person said, you can easily do this. Not only will using an external keyboard and mouse not damage your laptop, it will extend the life of the laptop's keyboard and touchpad (little finger mouse/square), since you won't be putting as much wera and tear on it.

- It also saves wear and tear on your hands and wrists. Laptops are not very ergonomic.

- That's so true, Darkling! I've been using my laptop as my main PC, while using a USB kb and mouse, since I asked this question. I might never bother getting another desktop PC again. A laptop is SO convenient!

That can be done. There should be no damage incurred with using a USB mouse or keyboard on a laptop. Many people do this for the same reason you want to.
