Without consent 18 like every other state. With consent...well generally that involves emancipation or marriage. If you get emancipated you have to prove to the courts you'd be better off on your own. If your parents consent it'd make it easier, but if they don't in emancipation court, it's tough. I am not 100% sure the laws on emancipation there, but the earliest it can happen in any state would be 16. Hope this helps.

I think that children should be able to leave home without consent at the age of 16. everyone is always telling them to grow up and act their age.. well i bet that if we gave them the responsabilities they want they wouldnt abuse them...

I think that at the age of 16 you sould be able to leave with-out a consent. I am 16 years of age and am just about ready to leave home. I am involed in school activites and am doin good in school. Ive never touched drug or alcohol my mom tested me for it because she dont believe me matter of fact she doesnt believe that I will finish high school and thinks am in the wrong path but am not. I dont not hang out with the wrong crowed am not a follower am a leader i make my own decision and dont let people talk for me or think for me. I think I just hit that age and my mom has to recognize it. I never really had a good relationship with my mom I just moved back with her and yes we have our differnces but I do love but I think that its just best for me to move out. I do think that I am responiable to be able to be indepentent. I do recognize the mistakes from my mom and mine and i do take them in and will use them in the future. When I move am planing to move in with my friend and her family which are happy to take me in and take care of me, but before that happens I have to find myself a job here in my town and know am gunna be stable to just be able to bye my cloth and personal think. I hope with all the information I can gather I could convice the court to let me go. Do you guys think i have a good chance of wining or no?
