I do it all the time...especially on here.... (.........) I have an uncontrollable digit.

Yes! I do the parenthetical thing way too frequently myself. And to correct, I will switch over to -- if necessary. I also do this... quite frequently.

And I'm a comma pirate.

I also use far too many parentheticals and asides. I try to use - sometimes - as well as the actual parentheses, but I think sometimes it makes me hard to read.
