I just got a new Samsung phone from Cingular and I can't get the ear peice I bought to work. I checked the book and there's nothing in there on how to work it and there's nothing on the ear peices package either. The model number is SGH-d407.

• Nope, not a Blue tooth. I hate those things. They're to heavy. This is just a standard ear piece like in the old days. The guy who sold it to me said it was the one for that model. However, in my non-techno geek hands even it won't work.

• Nothing. I tried to put it on speaker and it just goes to speaker phone. If I shut it it hangs up. I tried the button on the microphone. Nothing.

  If it automatically switches to speaker, it's probably because the part is defunct....try pulling up the phone's menu and seeing if there's a weird setting for handfree, and if you don't see anything I'd take it in to the store to have them adjust the settings.

• No, I have to put it on speaker. I swear to god this thing has more bells and whistles and I don't use a damn one, but the one thing I want to use doesn't work.
