I dont remember who told me, but someone said that when the Yankees lost to the Red sox in the playoffs of 2004 someone they knew commited suicide. I would think it was a joke but i remember the person was completely serious.

i read in an RE textbook at school that a guy commited suicide cos he played the lottery every day of his life, and used the same numbers, and then one day he didnt do it, and all his numbers came up. sounds a bit over dramatic to me!

i remember when take that split up a lot of people tried to commit suicide (over a music group)!

Someone covered themselves with organ donor cards and killed themselves, apparently they felt they were more useful dead than alive :o(
