What would cause a new Li-Ion battery to lose its charge after being fully charged? For example, I charged it all last night, haven't used it, and now it's almost dead.

    Li batteries can develop a "memory" if the are charged too long and too frequently. If your style is that you need to charge every other day to ensure that you have a full charge, then your battery will learn that you only use the first 10% of the charge and ignore the rest.
