I would take over the plane and try to land it. If i land it i would be the hero. But if i dont i would be a zero. And that wouldnt be cool.

Well....I wouldn't pray, that's for sure. I haven't been on a plane in 12 years. It dropped like 200 feet on the way back from Florida and I swore I was going to die. I just thought of my little puppy dog at the time and who was gonna raise him. I would do the same (if I was in the same situation)about my current dog. Not enough time to do much else.

yeah id jump

I'd act like a member of the House of Pain and Jump, Jump.
-
Meditate and try to survive.
-
Depends. If the pilot and copilot are knocked out or something, I might try to land if there was no one else who could. If there was a mechanical problem I would get into the brace position.

ask the Steward for a last great meal of my life.

Pull up! If I were a passenger, I would hope my polyester-clad friends in the cockpit were doing everything possible. I've been in simulator scenarios where the plane is crashing as part of pilot training. It's a scary experience, but remember that a lot of air disasters are avoidable, and that it is usually a combination of errors that brings down a plane. I recently practiced in a simulator after Comair flight 5191. I fly the same type of aircraft that was involved, and I tried to see if I could perform a takeoff with that short of a runway distance. With the configuration of their plane and the amount of thrust used, they believed they were taking off on a longer runway. I crashed the same way every time until I decided to try a full power take off, which got me to lift off speed before I ran out of asphault. So remember, crashes are somewhat avoidable but normally come from more than one error or circumstance.

Flying, if I knew it was going to crash I would sacrifice the plane to save my ass. Being a passenger, I would quiclky text my bank to pay my life insurance policy and the life insurance company to ensure my X-wife was no longer a beneficiary.
-
I've already took care of this seeing how I have a much better chance of winning the Million Dollar lotto I told my wife to play any numbers on the plane and/or flight #
-
Well, that's assuming that there's no chance to save it. I'd probably do like most others. scream, shit myself and scream some more... AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maintain height, trim for 65kts, carbheat hot, throttle closed, mixture rich, fuel selector on fullest tank, contents sufficient, mags on both. . CHECK FOR WIND! . Pick a paddock, assessing for size shape slop surface surround and sun, select a 1500ft area and 1000ft point, . Check 65kts, carbheat hot, throttle closed fuel selector on fullest tank, contents are sufficient, mags on both, . CHECK FOR POWER, no power. . sqwak 7700, ELT on, "mayday mayday mayday *** has engine failure *** descending through 1900ft, forced landing into the paddock POB 2, we will contact you once grounded" . Carry out a passenger brief . throttle closed, mixture lean, fuel off, mags off, masters on untill flaps selected door handles open. . brake pressure firm park brake off undercarriage down and set. . Assesing spacing from landing strip and altitude in realation to 1500ft area. . Turn a 45 degree base leg and make decisions of flap. Making sure you can reach the runway at all times. . Full flap on final approach and master electrics switch off. . Ground loop the plane at the end of the runway if need be and check for injuries or damage and contact someone for help. . Go home to my wife and tell her I had a bad day at the office.

You did not give enough information to make a intelligent decision? I have limit flying experience in a J-3 Piper Cup, Cessna, 152 & 172 about 15 hrs total and 40 yrs ago... "If you were on a plane that was about to crash what would you do?" If I were a passenger in one of those and the pilot had a heart attack I think I could land OK or at least walk away from the landing? But like the recent helicopter and small plane that collided over the Hudson River if you or I were only a passenger on either one of those planes there wouldn't have been much of any thing that we could have done?
