With US troops and insurgents fighting each other on a daily basis in Iraq, is there really any progress toward stability being made there?

I can only remark as to the time that I spent there. We were building new roads, setting up mayorships, funding/rebuilding schools, these are just a few of the things we did to help them. I do not support the war on the basis that we went under fallshoods, and also that we have assumed that they want all the things being given. I do not pretend that I have THE opinion on the matter, but i do think that things need to be evaluated more. We need to come to an agreement on when we have done all we can, when we have done all we are willing to do. An important thing to keep in mind is that this country DOESN'T help other countries because we feel for the people there, by sending in our army.
