  • Skin color is only skin-deep honey ;)
  • I have very pale skin, dark hair and hardly ever get much sun. I am 40, my friend (2 weeks age diffrence) who tans all the time for about 25+ years looks about 10 to 12 years older. So while you might think it looks good now to be TAN when you are 40 YOU will look good. Do not just live for the moment, think of the future (skin cancer?). Besides I bet you are very lovely with light skin and dark hair.
  • No not at all, I really hate the fake look of a hard tan which people think makes them look more normal.
  • Not at all. It isn't about skin tone, it is about the whole package.
  • It depends on the guy. I'm a redhead and CANNOT tan. I faced teasing when I was younger and would come back from summer break the same shade I was a few months before. Some guys like fair ladies. :D If he doesn't like you based solely on appearance, you don't need him.
  • Im a "Tan" Girl =D But I think its about personality and overall appearance rather than complextion =)
  • Its horses for courses, thats the beauty of being a human being, we all have different tastes?
  • Sure, SOME guys like tan girls. And some guys like fair girls. Fair complexion and dark hair is my husbands favorite.
  • Sweetheart don't worry about it. I am sure there are guys out there who will like you for who you are and not for whether or not your complexion is fair or your hair is dark etc. There are guys who will love you for who you are inside and not outside. Be patient and sooner or later one will come along. BTW I assume the LDS in your name indicates you are a member of the LDS Church.
  • not me, there's more than one thing to consider to have a proper relationship anyhow
  • Every one has their own tastes and it is not every one that is satisfied with their appearence. Be confident!Whatever your hair color is,You look pretty with confidence.
  • No. There are many paths to beauty.
  • What exactly is a "FAIR" complexion and why is it called "FAIR"? And I supposed that the opposite of "FAIR", if there is one in reference to complexions, has to be "UNFAIR" complexion. What an "UNFAIR" complexion would look like, why it would be so and how is that measured?
  • I'd rather have a fair partner or a natural partner rather than a tanned one. On some people a tan just looks wrong. Myself is an example. My parents are both dark and have dark hair while I have light brown hair and lighter skin with freckles. I don't like the sun. I don't really tan anyway, I fry then only get slightly darker. You wouldn't even be able to tell if it wasn't for the tan lines. XD wow i went really off topic. But it still goes. I'd rather have a natural colored partner.
  • I prefer the "whiter" girls myself.
  • I think it is a cultral thing, what ever is not the norm is "Exotic" and that seems to be the more "attractive" in that area...in countries dominated my darker toned people they would prefer lighter skinned becasue it is not the norm
  • It depends. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes physical traits. Although my skin is very fair and I get many compliments from darker skinned people
  • Some people like the pale look better. Depends on the individual really... I happen to like both equally really, because it suits different people.
  • Certainly not this one. Most of the women in my family are dark haired (some jet black) with blue eyes and very fair complexions. My s/o is the same. I think it is a beautiful combo.
  • Not me. I like women with fair complexions, especially Asian women who have this quality. Interestingly, some Chinese and especially Japanese women have even fairer complexions than white people. I really don't know what the attraction is in having a "tan". I don't really like my permanent one!
  • Some, personally I love a pasty girl. YUM!
  • Beauty comes in all colours and all shades. People will find all types attractive...depending on their personal preference, and some will not have a preference and can see the beauty with all combinations.
  • I've found that there is no universal standard of beauty that appeals to me. My friends are and have been of all races-- and I think that makes the world much more interesting! I'm Asian. In our culture, by tradition, a tan was considered undesirable because it meant someone was from the country, (and therefore poor) rather than the city (and therefore rich). In my experience, sometimes a tan can be very sexy. I have a friend who tans easily. She wears a small bikini to the beach. When she comes back and strips it off, her breasts and her lower abdomen and ass are pure white while the rest is very light. This is very sexy since it exaggerates the sexual parts! When I see her that way, I just want to....well, you know LOL
  • If you can get this complextion you will be fine http://www.katebeckinsalegallery.com/images/katebeckinsaleWallpaper/Katebeckinsale-HighQuality/Kate-beckinsale-HQ19.jpg
  • Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Since I am engaged to a woman pretty fair skinned with long dark hair I guess that proves I find it exotic and beautiful. The blonde with dark tanned body reminds me too much of the 70s, I think it is a rather dated look that some don't want to let go. Dark hair I find way more intoxicating and mysterious. With paler skin, the hair just seem all that darker.
