I've been here almost a year and I have yet to figure that one out yet

It came about because somebody (Nelson, I think) mentioned in a comment thread that television science shows when he was younger had predicted that we would have jetpacks as a mode of personal transport by now. So all the people who originally had jetpack in their user names remembered the same predictions from their youth. I suspect that some current jetpackers may be younger.
