Comparing old actors with their modern day counterparts, who would you call the modern day Robert Mitchum? Modern day Henry Fonda? Betty Davis?

I think today's actors don't measure up to their counterparts in the old days. First, they don't act as well. Second, they're not handsome or beautiful enough. Yesterday's actors were preened by Hollywood to 'look the part'. They were also exceptionally well trained as actors. And Hollywood spent a lot of time, energy, and money to nurture the mystique of their actors. Today Hollywood turns out actors by the dozen, most can't act and most don't have the look or the mystique.

No one can touch the old stars. It was a different time with different treatment!! There are good actors out there but Stars of power are gone!!!!!!!!!!
