Help answer this question below.
Leave it, in school any physical contact between male & female students will get YOU in trouble. Not only will the teacher report you for "touching" but there is a very good chance that you will get reported for "sexual harassment", this can lead to very serius charges and get you put on the sex offenders list.
Being on such a list will make it impossible to live near a school, impossible to get a job near children, and almost force you into a military type job.
Leave the contact till after school or till you can get somewhere private.
There is innocent hugging and hugging that is almost to the point of groping.
Life is full of rules. If in years time after you left school you worked within a office and became romantically involved with a co-worker again it would be unacceptable to hug, hold hands or kiss within the work place.
Personally i'd show how mature you are and abide by the rules within school grounds (because you may as well get used to following them because you only get more to follow when you leave school).
Ask the teacher what their problem is if they are the only one complaining. Or talk to your parents.
Demand a detailed answer of why you can't hug? Then shoot down their arguments.
