  • I've used emode.com (now tickle.com), HotOrNot.com, Match.com, and Yahoo Personals to help set up blind dates. I've always used the free memberships and relied on those with paid memberships to contact me. The results have been mixed, but I've made some friends through there (and I'll hang out in real-life, of course). I've also used OKCupid, but I haven't met anyone off of it yet.
  • I have used match.com. yahoo.com and eharmony. eharmony is the biggesdt joke in the world. i do not recommend anyone waste their money on that website. I have met a lot of nice people on the others. i dated one guy for 8 mos, and i dated another for 1 1/2 yrs. you just have to read between the lines, email and phone to get to know the guys and have an open mind and have fun.
  • I've used eharmony and match.com and I'm still single. I'd suggest eharmony, it was a lot easier to use. Match.com charged me like over $100 even though I was only on there for a month, whereas eharmony was only $60 for a month, which is still way the hell to much. My sister was on there and she met someone, but then he dumped her to go back to his ex.
  • Met a few guys on the online dating services, but no one I would consider spending the rest of my life with. My brother currently has 5 "girlfriends" all through online dating services. They are all in our region, but all in different towns. He juggles dating 5 different women and keeping all their names and stories straight.
  • Match.com. I actually have had a few relationships, and made a few acquaintanceships. I have had a few more extreme things happen such as helping to talk one out of suicide when she purposely ran out of her medication, and her psychiatrist happened to be out of town that weekend. To top it off, she told me her IBS was really acting up. She wasn't quite ready to date. Another fell in love with me over the phone, and didn't want to meet as there was no way I could live up to how she imagined me to be. I have become a bit cautious. Sometimes there is chemistry, and sometimes there isn't. Some women are really nice, regular people.
  • EHarmony has a great reputation, don't they have thousands of people getting married each week? If I had to choose, I'd go with eharmony, but there are other good sites. Two of my friends are now married to the guys they met on a dating site (one was match.com). Another is happily in a serious relationship with her guy (eHarmony). This site has got some links to free trials that dating sites sometimes run and revies: http://www.mydatinggenie.com/ Of course you might get lucky and find someone during the free trial period ;o)
