  • Your questions will be yes and no answers. the polygrapher will ask you an established set of questions, that require only a yes or no answer. normally, you will have a preview set of questions, before the actual test. questions may include your history of drug use, criminal activity, truth, and honesty. the questions will probably be focused on the employment you are seeking. note: be sure to advise the polygrapher if you are taking any medications....they could have a bearing on your test results, especially heart medications. good luck!
  • I think they will usually start off with a set of questions that they already know the answers to, and which you would be answering truthfully, so as to establish a reading of your reactions to questions when answering truthfully, and once they have a reading on your truth levels they start to hit you with questions designed to raise your level of apprehension. So, I imagine something like, Name, address, age, did you kill your neighbor with a pick axe?, favourite color, etc etc...
