Al Pacino or Robert DeNiro. Who is the better actor and why? Which role convinced you?

Some may agree with me here; When Al Pachino acts, you are convinced, and i mean really convinced.... So...what you got to say there...

De Niro. Pacino is fantastic in certain roles - I've yet to see any role De Niro fails at.

To do this I took my two favorite roles from each and then took account. My 2 favorite roles for each are: DeNiro: The Deer Hunter and Raging Bull Pacino: Serpico and Scent of a Woman My vote would go to Deniro purely on volume of great roles. The two roles above along with GoodFellas clinched it for me.

DeNiro, no contest. I have never been impressed with Pacino. I know, I know, I'm weird. I just think every one of his roles has been the same, and he seems "weasely" to me. I loved him in Serpico and he was pretty good in the first Godfather. But, since then, nothing great.
