It would be the curse of death. Republicans are going to spend the next 30 years trying to forget Bush, like the Tories in the UK are trying to wipe out memories of the Thatcher debacle.

I'm sure he doesn't want to cause any more division within the GOP. I don't really see a front runner yet. Seems the Dem's are throughing out all of the talking points and idea's extremely early this time. Maybe too early, leaving the stage wide open for a republican closer to election time.

I think it's their version of 'push-polling'. They try to stimulate votes for the most unsavory candidate of the opposition, so that they can have an easier time of winning the general election. karl Rove taught him all about that.
