Coffee,tea or coke!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yes, I do. But, only a sip or 2, just to keep my throat wet. It's why I never order a drink at a restaraunt. $2.00 is too much for a couple of sips. Water is fine.

I always have to have something to drink with a meal, not with snacks though or just a little something to eat. I like water, or wine or beer, maybe a bit of soda if we are doing a fast food night cooked at home. For breakfast it's usually coffee, tea or milk.

Its actually not good for your body if you drink while you eat. Even if its water. You shouldnt drink any fluids whatsoever while you are eating until at least 1/2 hour until after your meal. The reason is this: You mouth, when it starts to chew, stimulates salivary glands to help break soften and break down the food.. it travels down the esophagous into the stomach.. and gastric juices are secreted into the stomach to aid digestion. When you drink anything (even water) with your food, it waters down the gastric acids, and actually criples your body in doing its digestion process! It takes much longer (some research show 3 times longer) for the food to be digested, and causes your body to work even harder, secreating more juices and activacting more peristalsis (movement of pushing foods through the digestive tract) So its actually heaps better to not drink anything with your meal, and wait until at least 30 mins before you have a drink. (whatever it may be) People watching their weight.. this really helps to break down and use more foods (nutrients) instead of the body diverting to storeing the food as fats :) Interesting, hey!! :) xox

Cola when I'm out. Water if not. I would love to have a glass of ice cold milk. They never serve it here without ice cubes, so I pass on that (they do the same thing with beer, too.) I discovered I'm allergic to something they put in the powdered drinks here that makes my lips swell, and that includes the iced tea mixes. My guess is that it's the Nutrasweet, since it's in everything and I never had that problem until I came here (it's not used in Vietnam). Did you also know they serve chocolate drink powder here mixed with only water? I drank it once and couldn't believe they like this stuff. I do miss milk.
