I live in New Mexico and I have recently injured my back. I have been placed on work restrictions and will not recieve my normal pay. Is this resolution legal in the state of New Mexico?

    Were you injured on the job? If not, the restrictions are legal. If so, you have workmans comp rights, but the restrictions are still generally legally (with some minor exceptions).

    It's unlikely that its illegal. Check your HR Handbook. It will say what the law is. Seek supplmental insurance if you can get it now.
