  • Being released early from prison occurs for several reasons. overcrowding or being a model prisoner. early release and being on parole comes with several very strict rules. cannot leave the state in which the parole was granted, without a court or parole officers permission. this is rarely granted. cannot commit any other criminal activity. cannot associate with known criminals. and, there are other various restrictions, that vary from state to state. when a person on parole, violates any of the conditions of his parole, his parole officer will violate him and return him to prison to complete the original sentence, plus additional years, for the violation. being place on parole has to be earned and violations of a parole, carries severe consequences.
