I am 19 years old and a mezzo soprano. With persistent training, would I ever be able to sing the coloratura soprano notes in the famous Queen of the Night piece?

    Well if you're comfortable hitting those F6's as a Mezzo, then by all means, absolutely! :) Just remember dear, don't force your voice to do things that make it uncomfortable. And also: breath support! That aria is ALL about breath support! :)

    If you're 19, you just might find out in a couple of years that you're actually a soprano. Maybe not to Queen of the Night ability, but possibly close. I'm close to finishing up undergrad voice work, and i've seen many people who've entered my school as mezzos and left sopranos.
