Culhane's Steak House in New Cumberland,Pennsylvania right off Interstate #83. To tell the truth, six out of the ten best steaks that I have had were cooked by my wife. If I splurge and get a really good cut of meat at the butchers, she will grill it just right. I don't do too bad myself.

Years ago at an English Tudor styled restaurant called I think, The Charter House. It was like dining in an old pub with separate rooms with huge fireplaces in each. Waiters in period outfits. The greatest steaks and fish. Huge portions, giant tankards of beer. I miss that place. It was on Topanga Canyon BLVD. near Ventura Blvd. in the San Fernando Valley in California.

One we went to in Texas one time. It wasn't a chain, but one of these REALLY posh expensive ones. Locally, I prefer the Texas Roadhouse because they have a counter where you can actually select your cut of meat specifically at the front... and I'm fairly good at picking really nice ones.

The best steak my friends and I ever had was at Steakhouse (Melbourne Australia) http://www.steakhouse.net.au I've been to both Steakhouse locations; Docklands Melbourne and Port Melbourne at Pier 35 Marina. My friend had the Black Angus Eye Fillet and was raving about it for weeks. I like how you can watch the Chef's cook your steak on the grill. The views are especially great at the Port Melbourne Steakhouse, the restaurant hangs over the water and you can see giant ships go past. Views also look out to the Westgate Bridge.

Shin Chon Korean Restaurant..it's close to where I live and it's not a traditional american steak per se, it's korean marinated beef you grill yourself but I will take that over a ribeye anyday. When it is served they bring the meat to the table and you have a built in grill you cook the meat on, you are also served about 15 different kinds of korean side dishes and korean soup. I usually order sushi and sake as well. IT's typical korean fare, nothing special or any different from the other traditional style korean restaurants I have eaten at in america and korean, but the service is top notch, the food is great and I prefer their choices of side dishes to other korean places in my area.

The Wellington Restaurant in Baughurst between Tadley and Basingstoke. My wife and I had just done The Saturday Morning Shopping and we came up to the Wellington and on impulse I said "I Fancy A Steak", we stopped off and had a large glass of Red Wine and the best Steak and Chips ever. I asked the boys who own the place where did they get there steaks from, they said some little obscure farm in The Highlands and to boot The Chips were Hand Cut and Large. I was so impressed that there and then I booked all my family in for Dinner the first Saturday after Xmas and it was absolutely magical, a big Thank You to Jason and David.
