I would put my hands up, admit it was my fault and apologise, unless it was a crime. Then I would plead not guilty, even if I had my hands in the till when I got caught, Then I would rely on 12 of my peers to demonstrate yet again that justice is more a concept than a reality. Not that I'm in the habit of sticking my hands into tills. ;-}

If the punishment fits the crime, take it. If I'm 'busted' for doing something I knew was wrong, that's a risk I'm taking.
-
If I did something wrong, it would be only with good intentions. If I get caught, I wouldn't apologize for what I did. Sometimes we have to do bad things to do something good. I can't explain it without giving specific examples but...
-
If you do something that you know is wrong..how can it be justified? I am sure that there are some things which can be, but I am considering the "getting caught" aspect of the question. I would go ahead and take my punishment and get it over with.

Take it like a man... :-)
-
Depends on what it is..fighting for one's freedom for example is considered terrorist acts by some, but defending human rights to others.
-
If I get caught in the wrong, I'll admit to it and take whatever punishment comes my way.
-
I usually try to explain why I did it first( justifying)so they understand I didn't do it to be mean and then I take what is coming.
-
If I done it I would own up to it. I would probably explain why I done it but I wouldn't try to avoid being punished. If I knew it was wrong to begin with no need to think I can do an OJ & avoid punishment because I have a good lawyer. I feel Karma's punishment is much worse if you don't pay for the mistakes you make.
-
I take it all quietly, no matter how hard the beating.
-
If I am guilty as charged, I will take the punishment...
-
I will take my punishment and try not to get caught next time. I am amazed when others try to deny or justify when they were nailed fair and square.
-
I try hard not to do wrong. If I get caught, I take my punishment.
-
I would take the punishment. I would be stupid to try to find an argument to justify something I already knew was wrong.
-
Take my lumps and go on to the next error...?
-
Take my punishment and go on with life.
