  • Screw internet explorer. Get Firefox.
  • that is easy, first of all go into your task manager and stop the processing of of "security toolbar", next try to uninstall it using your control panel and removing the rest of it. also when all is done try going into your regedit and remove any residual code.
  • Hmmm...so when you go to Internet Options it shows your homepage and then a textbox to change it? If so then type in your destined homepage (I think it requires http) and then press "Ok" or "Apply" then restart your internet. If that doesn't help then I don't know, sorry.
  • Any program that hijacks your home page is some sort of malware and really needs to be removed. Typing http://safetysettings.com into Google gave me the following link, among others: http://www.spynomore.com/safetysettings-com.htm?gclid=CPS1w86c444CFSh4Egodz16DQw
