My Mom had a stroke about 3 days after surgery to remove a golf-ball sized aneurysm. It took her a little over a year to recover (about 95%). She is an amazingly strong woman, and I am so proud of her!

My grandpa had a stroke 4 years ago. He wasnt able to speak or walk, and his entire right side was numb. Today he is struggling alot, but he speaks (though not clearly), and uses all types of support to walk around the house. There are many different types of strokes, each varying in degree and effect.
