If your teenage daughter wanted a nose job, would you support her or discourage her?

I think, if someone really has a terrible misformned nose (which some people do) I would be supportive. If she has a normal nose like most people do, and just wants to perfect it, I wouldn't allow it.

Discourage. The nose she's got now isn't completely misshapen (sp?) or anything insane like that, so there's no reason to work on what she's got.

Well I hate my nose, so I know what it's like to want a nose job. If she wants to make herself happy than I think it's ok. She shouldn't be doing it to be more attractive to other people.

I would tell her to wait until she stops growing, as her nose will change and surgery before it is done,can mess it up and look worse. If she really has a bad nose, I would be supportive. It would help her self esteem. If she just wants to look like a celebrity or something, no, I ould discourage it.
