  • I would make a long list of what is important to you in a vehicle and figure out a scale of 1 to 10 for each item and make a really long list of vehicles that meet your criteria and spend a few weekends at the dealerships test driving all of them. objectively and subjectively score each vehicle according to your criteria after to drive it and make a decision after you've tried every vehicle on your list. Also, make the dicision at home at least a day or two after you've driven the last vehicle on the list. Finally, SUVs tip over - that high center of gravity is a dangerous thing, besides they make you look like a tool. if you need that extra space try a wagon or a minivan. it's safer and less expensive in the long run. (mid-sized SUVs aren't really trucks anymore they are more closely related to what minivans were in the eighties)
