The "Barmy Brussels" European Union and "PC gone maaaaaaad!" ones. They are classic.

The best one is one that keeps coming back every so often is the,

"Bang out or order! Euro bureaucrats try to ban the Great British banger! Loony left ministers in Europe are preparing to legislate to standardise the Euro-sausage and that the humble British sausage is to be referred to from now on as "emulsified offal tubing". You couldn't make it up!"

Well you could and they did; this was actually a plot line in the BBC sitcom Yes, Minister.

Or that "Birmingham City Council PC nutters have banned Christmas and demanded it be renamed Winterval so that it doesn't offend minorities! Political Correctness gone Mad!". Well again this is a myth, Winterval was a initiative by the council (about 10 years ago as well but it keeps coming up as a current issue) to boost business for the whole of the winter period a city centre shopping initiative. They still had the Xmas festivities as well.

I so seldom answer my own question, but here goes:

The lady standing in the tower on 9/11, waving (and how that just *had* to be proof the fire was not that hot and the towers were actually imploded on purpose)...

The truth is, she IS real. There are several known still images & vidoe of her, including one documented by FEMA. She has been identified be her husband. There are other people visible in the shots.

BUT! It IS NOT evidence of a conspiracy or cover up. Simple science explains it all. She is at the point of impact, not the point of fire. The fire traveled UP, not down. And jet fuel DOES really burn hot enough to melt a building, especially given the way the building and it's fire retardant insulation were built.

9/11 conspiracies make me crazy. And, if you ever want to see me TRUELY ANGRy, just try to tell me that a missle or a smaller plane hit the Pentagon and the government did it on purpose.
