Its called insanity and rightly so. one drop will blaze a pot of chili. it may be hard to find. check the website. sorry, i don't have their web address. be careful, it comes with a warning label. if it takes the paint off the walls, just think what too much of insanity will do to your body. as a prank, my wife put a drop on my portable coffee mug. didn't know it till i entered the interstate and took a big gulp. cried for miles and miles. i owe her BIG!!!

There are a number of products that vie for this title. The hottest are commercial products used in the food industry. These are pure or nearly pure capsaicin (the hot in hot peppers) extracts and are very dangerous if used carelessly. Heat is measured in Scoville units, with a bell (sweet) pepper coming in at 0 (zero) and pure capsaicin at 16,000,000. There is a list on Wikipedia of the heat ratings of different peppers and commercial products (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoville_unit). According to Chilly Chiles (http://www.chillychiles.com/), a retailer I frequent who specializes in the spicy side of the market, the products listed below are the hottest products they market. All are rated 10++ on their rating scale, which runs from 0 to 10++. By the way, for some of these products the store requires the purchaser to sign a waiver releasing the store from liability in the event the purchaser misuses them. Where the Scoville numbers are available, I have included them. - 1 Million Scoville (1,000,000 Scoville). - Blair's 2 a.m. Reserve. - Blair's 3 a.m. Reserve (2,000,000 Scoville). - Cool Million (1,000,000 Scoville). - Da Bomb Final Answer (2,000,000 Scoville). - Dave's Reserve. - Mad Dog Revenge (1,000,000 Scoville). - Mad Dog 357 Reserve (714,000 Scoville). - Satan's Blood (800,000 Scoville). - Pure Cap. - The Source (7,100,000 Scoville). Another poster mentioned a product called "insanity" as the hottest. Dave's Insanity, Dave's Total Insanity, and Dave's Ultimate Insanity come in at 10+ on the Chilly Chiles rating scale. Close, but no (pepper) cigar. The Source is the hottest product available at the retail level.

some of the thai chilli sauces or the ones made with bird chillis are extremely hot...you can make any dish really hot by browning small thai red or green bird chillis in a little of the cooking oil..(You may want to remove the chilli's at that point. You can get them in Vancouver from South China Seas on Granville Island..I don't know about Edmonton.

Have you tried adding a little tobasco sauce? You might want to try a little in a bowl before you add any to the whole pot...as everyone may not agree with your measurement...You might also experiment with curry. I have. Yahooooo!

Dave's Insanity Sauce. This is the hottest I have ever tried! I've tried many and nothing comes close. Warning label reads something like "May remove asphalt from driveways." So, be careful with it; a drop or two goes a long way!

Look for a hot sauce that has Habañero peppers or Scotch Bonnet peppers in it.

Scovials- the word for the standard Hotness, then you can find the Hot ones that will cause the cammode to loose its finish when you go.
